| This stylish City Centre hotel consists of a group of late-Victorian buildings,
which had been unsuccessfully linostoned some
years ago. Our contract included stone cleaning and full restoration works to the
sandstone facade. This involved stripping defective masonry coatings and reapplying a new
microporous finish designed to withstand the rigours of the Scottish climate. We also
replaced defective timber sash and case windows, all the while operating within strict
conservation guidelines.
